Ex-Voto (Band)

Ex - Voto se formó en la década de 1980 en Los Ángeles (Estados Unidos) por Larry Rainwater ( vocalista, bajo y bateria), Linda Patti (tecladista y vocalista) David Rhine, Spleen (segunda voz, teclado) y Patrick Midnite (Guitarra). Desencantado con la escena punk rock actual de principios de los 80 en Los Ángeles, Ex-Voto dedicó a forjar un sonido en el lado más oscuro y macabro de la música alternativa.

Con la incorporación de un teclado le dio un sonido más bailable no fueron bien recibidos en un comienzo por los amantes del Underground de aquella época, sin embargo esto no duró mucho ya que con el nacimiento del Deathrock obtuvieron el respeto que se merecían, logrando ser etiquetados de diferentes formas “Deathrock”, “Gothic Rock”y “DarkWave”.
